WLC Delivers Hardisty Transformer


Shipment from Busan to Vancouver

Cargo forwarder World Logistics Consulting has delivered an out-of-gauge transformer from Korea to East Central Alberta in Canada.
 
The breakbulk item weighed 13.8 tonnes and was delivered to the Hardisty Substation in Hardisty. The cargo was loaded in Busan Port, South Korea, and discharged at Vancouver Port for onward transit.

“WLC coordinated the entire work scope including the discharging, storage, trans-loading, the inland transit, as well as offloading onto the foundation via jack and slide,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
