WFS Expands Cargo Handling in Spain


(Europe) Three new contracts


Cargo handling firm Worldwide Flight Services has secured three new cargo handling contracts in Spain.

The firm will now ramp and cargo handling services in Madrid for Saab340 cargo flights from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport operated by Airest, with onward connections to Barcelona. 

In Seville, WFS added Air France as a partner providing full ground handling services for its four Airbus flights a week connecting Paris and Seville. The group also extended its working relationship with WIZZ, handling cargo from the Hungarian airline’s twice-weekly A320 charter flights from Bucharest.

Headquartered in Paris, WFS is one of the world’s largest air cargo handlers with operations at over 198 major airports in 23 countries and throughput of over four million tonnes of cargo per annum.
