Six Heavy Units to Parbatipur Railway

Logistics firm Tricom Logistics Group has completed transportation of six heavy units as part of a railway crane project in Bangladesh.

The breakbulk carriage involved two railway engines, each weighing 77 tonnes, two crane units, each weighing 71 tonnes, and two counterpart units, each weighing 27 tonnes. Cargo was moved from Chittagong Port to Parbatipur Railway projects site in Bangladesh.

“[The team] used hydraulic 12 and 15 multi-axles and low-bed trailer, as well as loading and unloading operation using two 120-ton mobile cranes,” a spokesperson for Tricom said.
