Cargo specialist Tera Projects & Shipping has delivered components for a plant decommissioning project in Kerteh, Malaysia.

The complex transport involved transfer of 16,000 tonnes of equipment including reactors, vessels, tanks and silos. Cargo was moved from the Petronas Vinyl Chloride Monomer plant to Kemaman Port in Terengganu State.

“Traffic lights removal, electricity cables removal, telecommunication cables removal, tree trimming, road leveling and the shutdown of high-tension cables were executed during the convoy,” a representative of Tera said.

With head offices in Klang, Selangor, Tera Projects & Shipping is the newest member of the Project Cargo Network, which represents certified freight forwarders in more than 100 countries worldwide.
