Sigmai Moves Israeli Pipeline Parts

Shipment for Natural Gas Pipeline

Cargo carrier Sigmai Trade and Logistics has handled a shipment of pipeline components in Israel.

The logistics project involved loading and lashing of the pipes, offloading at site, as well as all customs formalities for the delivery as part of construction of Israel’s natural gas pipeline system. More than 300 containers, out-of-gauge units and oversized breakbulk shipments were transported.

“One of the main challenges in handling this type of project was the tight schedule in order to meet the project deadlines, combined with the complex process of customs regulations for this type of cargo,” a spokesperson for Sigmai said.

Heaquartered in Holon, Israel, Sigmai is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, a breakbulk association which connects pre-qualified firm in 88 countries.
