Multi-station Contract Across US, Europe

Saudi Arabian airfreight flag carrier Saudia Cargo has awarded a multistation contract to cargo handling specialist WFS for major airport gateways in the U.S. and Europe.

The contract covers more than 160,000 tonnes of cargo per annum, as well as ramp handling for air cargo shipments onboard more than 5,000 flights a year. The three-year agreement extends existing relationships at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and across all airports in France as well as at Frankfurt, New York JFK, Washington Dulles with new business at London Heathrow, Manchester, Brussels and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

“This is a highly significant contract for WFS with one of the world’s leading cargo carriers … An important factor in our success is undoubtedly our ability to offer services to Saudia Cargo at all eight airports within our own facilities and the expertise and flexibility of our people at each airport,” said Duncan Watson, vice president global commercial cargo at WFS.
