M701F to Port Jebel Ali
Transport firm Polaris Shipping Agencies has transported an outsized Gas Turbine part from Azerbaijan to the UAE.
The cargo comprised a M701F Rotor, weighing 105 tonnes and measuring 12 meters in length. The cargo was moved by road on heavy-duty low beds with escorts from Azerbaijan to Port Iskenderun where it was transhipped on heavy lift vessel to Port Jebel Ali.
“On arrival of shipment at Port Jebel Ali, Polaris Project team received the heavy-lift on suitable trailers and placed on temporary supports waiting for completion of Customs formalities,” a spokesperson for Polaris said.
Polaris is headquartered in Dubai and offers breakbulk services throughout the MENA region as well as in CIS States including Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan. Polaris is a member of the WCA network which connects freight forwarders and project cargo companies worldwide.
