NTC Logistics Moves Kandala Turbines

Freight carrier NTC Logistics has delivered wind turbine generator parts from China to India.

The breakbulk consignment included four tower units, one hub, a nacelle, three blades and tools. The cargo was shipped from Tai Cang to Kandala in Mumbai aboard the vessels Rubina and BBC Naples.

“Due to height restrictions the task was very challenging. We had to load all the shipments from the plant, where there was height restriction for towers in the transportation as well as in port.

With offices in Chennai, India, NTC Logistics is a member of the WCA Projects network which connects freight forwarders and project cargo companies around the world.
