Freight forwarder Nora International has delivered 57 over-dimensional units of drilling machinery from Turkey to India.
The project cargo comprised 499 tonnes and measured 2,007 cubic meters. It was loaded aboard the breakbulk vessel ChipolbrokSun78 in Aliaga, Turkey, and shipped to Mundra in India.
“The heaviest piece was a DrillmecMr8000 Semi-trailer, which was 65 tonnes. Nora International started with the calculation of each unit to complete the lashing in one workday,” a spokesperson for Nora said.
Based in Izmir, Turkey, Nora & Nortranss Global Logistics, is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents breakbulk operators worldwide.
