Movex Delivers Kandla Pipes


Steel Pipe to Sharjah and Sohar Ports

Freight forwarder Movex Cargo has handled a breakbulk shipment of steel pipes via Kandla Port in India.

The consignment involved 9,200 cubic meters of pipes, weighing 3,100 tonnes, and with diameter ranging from 32 inches to 82 inches. The cargo was delivered from Kandla Port to the ports of Sharjah and Sohar in the Middle East.

“In tailor-made planning, we arranged the entire cargo successfully to the port well in time, arranged cargo survey, and customs cleared in timely manner to make ready for loading on vessel scheduled under inducement call arrangements,” a spokesperson for Movex said.

Headquartered in India, Movex is a member of the breakbulk association WCA Projects, which connects project cargo handlers in 88 countries worldwide.
