(Europe-MENA) Shipment from Felixstowe
Breakbulk carrier Matrix has delivered an over-dimensional root blower unit from the UK to Abu Dhabi Port in the UAE.
The complex shipment weighed 35 tonnes and was loaded at Felixstowe Port in the south of England. The unit measured nearly 8 meters long and 5 meters high.
“The move proved to be challenging because it was an out-of-gauge cargo with over height. However, the cargo delivery reached the site in safe condition and to the client’s satisfaction,” a Matrix spokesperson said.
Matrix is a member of industry association XL Projects, which connects companies focused on heavy-lift handling and transportation. XLP is an exhibitor at Breakbulk events.
