Forwarding Networks’ Annual Meetings in Rotterdam, Vienna
The Global Project Logistics Network, or GPLN, and the Worldwide Project Consortium, or WWPC, will hold annual general meetings with forwarding and logistics members surrounding Breakbulk Europe’s Conference and Exhibition at its new venue, the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam on May 17-19.
GPLN will hold its annual general meetings with forwarding and logistics members May 20-22 at the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam, just after Breakbulk Europe, “so that attendees who are visiting this exhibition can conveniently combine all events and limit their journey to one single trip to Rotterdam,” said Luzius Haffter, GPLN’s executive director.
While Covid has suspended the annual gatherings over the past two years, the network’s events have drawn more than 180 delegates worldwide, to participate in the networking event. “All upcoming events are obviously subjet that the word is back to normal in 2020,” Hafftner added.

WWPC Gathers in Vienna
Meanwhile the WWPC’s membership conference will precede Breakbulk Europe, and will be conducted at the Le Meridien Hotel in Vienna, Austria, May 10-14, “to celebrate overdue 20 years of networking,” said Wolfgang Karau, director of Quality Cargo Networks.
“After having to postpone conferences, trade fair attendance and general business travel during the past two years, we are hopeful to start gathering again in 2022 with several initiatives,” Karau said.
During the same week Priority Cargo Network will have its ninth membership conference in the Hilton Hotel, Rotterdam. Quality Cargo Networks contracted with the landmark Schielandshuis in Rotterdam for both network members to hold a networking dinner.
The networks will exhibit at Breakbulk Europe and will also distribute its Heavy Cargo News magazine in delegate bags.
“We again look forward to meet friends, business partners and new customers face-to-face and explore opportunities in the present market conditions. Industrial project and specialized forwarding related activities have always played an important role in global logistics and our network member experts are ready to meet any challenge,” Karau said.
