Faymonville Acquires Stürzer

Haulage specialist Faymonville Group has acquired cargo vehicle firm Stürzer Heavy Trucks.

The acquisition will see Faymonville expand its presence in South Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Operations will be managed via the newly formed Faymonville Trade & Services GmbH, headquartered in Landsberg am Lech.

“The takeover of Stürzer Heavy Truck fits perfectly into the Faymonville Group's strategic concept for extending its leading market position still further … all servicing of the vehicles will be carried out in Landsberg am Lech,” a spokesperson for Faymonville said.

Headquartered in Luxembourg, Faymonville manufactures semi-trailers for the special haulage industry and its brand portfolio includes transport services from 15 tonnes up to 15,000 tonnes.
