(MENA-Asia) Shipment to Cambodia
Project cargo firm Express Global Logistics has transported a breakbulk shipment of exhaust silencers and ancillary equipment from India to Cambodia.
The over-dimensional cargo included 12 silencers and 50 containers and was loaded at Mumbai Port. Scope of work involved physical inspection, heavy-lift loading, coordination with the shipper and clearing agent, and all port handling on arrival.
“The challenge was to adhere to strict timelines [and] EXG made these unbelievable timelines happen due to its commitment to its customer/agents. Another challenge was to keep loading during odd hours as extensive operation extended for two nights due to dredging at the port,” a spokesperson for EXG said.
Headquartered in Mumbai, EXG provides multi-surface logistics and heavy equipment rentals throughout India. The firm is a member of the Project Logistics Alliance, which represents breakbulk handlers in more than 180 countries.
