Project cargo specialist Erdoganlar International Heavy Transport has delivered a transformer unit from Ankara, Turkey, to Mönchengladbach, Germany.
The over-dimensional item weighed 80 tonnes and measured 5 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high. A team from Erdoganlar arranged the transfer using a 4+3+5 axles low-bed trailer.
“Not all of the trip was smooth sailing due to strikes in France during transit. The team overcame this challenge by roping off the truck with police and escorts,” a spokesperson for the firm said.
Based in Turkey, Erdoganlar International is a member of the PL Alliance, which represents about 200 pre-qualified project forwarders in 114 countries.
