C.H. Robinson Moves Australian Coolers

Cargo expert C.H. Robinson has delivered 34 cooler units from the U.S. to Australia.

Cargoes were loaded in New York and Baltimore with 28 coolers shipped to the Port of Kembla in Sydney and six coolers shipped to the Port of Melbourne for delivery to Deer Park, Victoria. The units weighed up to 5.4 tonnes each.

“It took six ocean shipments and a combination of over-dimensional flat-rack and rolling on and off the vessel to make it happen. With so many ocean shipments moving at once, experts kept close track of all the project’s moving parts,” a spokesperson for the firm said.

Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, C.H. Robinson provides breakbulk services worldwide and is a member of member of the Project Cargo Network, which connects heavy-lift forwarders in more than 100 countries.
