Anker Delivers Tolú Compressors

Cargo specialist Anker Logistica y Carga has delivered a cargo of natural gas compressor units from Houston, Texas, to Tolú, Colombia.

The consignment included two compressor main structures, two cooler units and four containers. The heaviest items weighed 65 tonnes each and measured more than 12 meters long.

"The challenge for this project was the coordination of the entire process including enlistment, preparation of all documentation, preparation of the whole shipment for transport, movement of the cargo, customs processes and final delivery in Colombia,” said Andrea Manrique of Anker Logistica y Carga.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia, Anker Logistica is a member of the Project Cargo Network, or PCN, which connects breakbulk and heavy-lift forwarders in more than 100 countries.
