AMI Ships KND Plant

Cargo carrier AMI Projects has shipped a KND Mining plant via the port Jebel Ali to a client’s site in the Persian Gulf.

The outsized cargo consisted of 97 packages ranging from 65 tonnes to 97 tonnes and the project required a total of 19 heavy-lifts. Delivery was overseen by AMI’s Projects Team based in Dubai.

“These highly specialized shipments require a high degree of transport planning, from origin to destination … AMI’s scope of work covered complete in transit logistics management, intermediate storage and ocean freight,” an AMI spokesperson said.

Registered in the UAE, AMI Middle East is a member of the WCA cargo forwarding network, which represents operators in 88 countries.
