AirBridgeCargo Moves Record Singapore Shipment

Outsized Maritime Delivery from Germany

Breakbulk carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines has transported an outsized maritime component from Germany to Singapore.

The spare part weighed a record 40 tonnes and was first trucked from Belgium to Frankfurt before loading aboard an ABC Boeing 747 freighter. The abcXL team completed all logistics arrangements on behalf of maritime construction company Jan De Nul Group within a timeframe of just six days.

“Despite challenging weather conditions in Frankfurt, including strong winds and rain, the loading procedures were completed as planned under the control of abcXL specialists,” a spokesperson for the firm said.

ABC provides breakbulk freight services worldwide via a fleet of Boeing 747 freighters, that includes four 747-400 ERF, three 747-400F versions and nine next generation Boeing 748-8 freighters.
