AGL, Kodan Deliver Engines

(Russia/CIS) Shipment to St. Petersburg

Breakbulk handlers Alexander Global Logistics and Kodan Solutions have collaborated in the shipment of two diesel engines from India to Russia.

The outsized units were transported from the customer’s factory to Nhava Sheva port by a team from AGL. Each unit weighed over 34 tonnes and measured more than eight meters in length.

“Each engine was loaded into a 40’ flat rack and sailed towards Russia,” a spokesperson for AGL said.

Both AGL and Kodan are members of the Project Logistics Alliance, which connects pre-qualified cargo carriers in 114 countries worldwide.
