Logistics firm Westdijk Sweden has delivered a breakbulk cargo of industrial equipment from Kassel in Germany to Norrköping in Sweden.
The consignment weighed a total of 165 tonnes, with the largest component weighing 85 tonnes. The equipment was transported the by road for the journey of 1,123 kilometers.
Westdijk Sweden is a member of cargo association XL Projects Network. The XLP network also said Pakistani member Star Shipping recently transported three heavy transformers from Karachi Port to Tarbela Dam in Pakistan.
The transformers weighed 93.4 tonnes each and were delivered on behalf of a Chinese engineering procurement and construction for a power project.
