Logistics firm W.I.S. has transported a breakbulk cargo of pipes to Kazakhstan via Russia as part of an ongoing oil and gas project.
A total of 35,000 tonnes of pipes, manufactured by supplier Tenari, will be delivered to Chioggia Port in Dalmine, northern Italy on behalf of W.I.S. client. From Chiogga, the team from W.I.S. arranged transshipment to Azov in Russia from where they will be shipped to Tengiz, Kazakhstan.
“W.I.S have just completed handling the third vessel of a total of 10 to 12 to be delivered by the end of 2017,” a spokesperson for W.I.S. said.
