WWL and ROLF SCS Join Forces

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics and ROLF SCS are in the final stages of discussions to establish a joint venture between their Baltic and Russian terminals activities for auto manufacturers.

The partnership will coordinate services to operate auto and ro-ro terminals in Kotka, Finland, and terminals at Petrolesport in St. Petersburg and the Port of Vostochny in Nakhodka, the principal entry ports by sea into Russia.

WWL and ROLF SCS provide vehicle logistics in the Baltics and Russia including ocean services, terminal and technical services, inland transport and supply chain management.

The joint venture is expected to be finalized in late 2010.
