Technology specialists RocketSpace and Kaleido have expanded their corporate program ahead of the launch of second cohort of its Logistics Tech Accelerator.
The new corporate partners include Ingram Micro, Fiege, Lufthansa Cargo and MAN Trucking. The financial support and expertise of the partners will be used to “fuel cross-industry partnerships” and support a dedicated pilot program of new technologies.
The accelerator program focuses on startups that develop smart technology to disrupt the logistics industry. Concepts include robotics, drones, IoT, autonomous vehicles and blockchain technology and range from warehouse to transport to trade.
“Being connected with multiple industry corporations gave us a unique first-hand view into how they want to innovate. This insight was extremely valuable because it’s immediately something we could take action on. As a startup, this access along with a specific focus on a real pilot program were key to our team completing the program with tangible results and future opportunities already lined up,” said Alex Lisitzky, founder of SLiCK, which recently raised €1.5 million to expand its product offering.
The program is open for startup applications through Nov. 16. The cohort will kick off in January with a tailored four-week virtual curriculum.
