Steder Transports Equipment for Grand Renaissance Dam

Steder Group FZE, based in Djibouti, transported five large pieces of earthmoving equipment from Djibouti Port to the 5,250-megawatt Grand Renaissance Dam project in the western part of Ethiopia.

A distance of approximately 1,800 kilometers was covered in about three weeks, according to a statement from the Worldwide Project Consortium on behalf of its member Steder Group.The project is located about 25 miles east of Sudan on the Blue Nile River.

The convoy transported two 72-tonne wheel-loaders, two 65-tonne excavators and one 50-tonne dump truck.
