Van der Vlist Poland has moved two large pieces of an industrial production line for DHL GF Industrial Projects. The cargo was moved by road from Poreba, Poland through to Hamburg, Germany, a journey of around 900 kilometers.
Each piece measured 6.1 meters wide. Both private and police escorts were required by authorities for the full journey. The width also meant that a detailed route survey was carried out with the acceptable route subject to removal and replacement of street furniture at various points throughout the movement, according to a Van der Vlist statement.
The cargoes were subsequently shipped to Venezuela as part of a petrochemical installation.
