Wilhelmsen Ship Services Handles Project Cargo at Huangpu

Wilhelmsen Ships Service’s logistics department in Shanghai recently loaded a $2 million air-filter system at Huangpu Terminal, Guangzhou Port, China for shipment to India. The project cargo, mostly steel frames and machinery, consisted of 39 packages that weighed a total of 303 metric tons.

WSS handled vessel chartering, export customs clearance, cargo transport and storage. The cargo, manufactured in China, was loaded aboard the Balboa and will be discharged at Mumbai Port. The consignee is an Indian heavy electrical engineering company.
