Breakbulk Events announced that Mui-Fong Goh, a partner at global management consultant A.T. Kearney, will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural Breakbulk China Transportation Conference & Exhibition.
Breakbulk China will bring together top executives in the breakbulk and project cargo transportation sectors Feb. 27-Mar. 1, at the Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao.
Ms. Goh leads the firm's Asia Pacific transportation practice, where she has spent the last 13 years consulting for leading companies in Asia, Europe and North America on areas of operations,supply chain management, logistics and distribution functions. In her keynote speech on Feb. 29, she will discuss trends and recent developments in China's breakbulk cargo logistics sector.
Before joining A.T. Kearney, Ms. Goh worked for the Port of Singapore Authority, where she was responsible for logistics planning. She attended The Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, for her Master in Business Administration, and also earned a master's in transportation from MIT's Centre of Transportation Studies and a bachelor's in computer science from the National University of Singapore.
The Breakbulk China Transportation Conference & Exhibition will feature panels and roundtable discussions led by industry leaders, who will address emerging markets and trade lanes out of China, as well as sourcing strategies and techniques for export packing. More than 100 exhibitors will showcase their services at the nearby INTEX Exposition Centre and participate in a welcome reception at the end of the first day.
