Ahlers Announces Open Positions, Syria War Risk

Breakbulk Online - Press Release

Samin Line’s 12,352-deadweight-tonne Lily will be in Antwerp between Jan. 1-16, 2012, at ABES terminal heading for Tartous and/or Lattakia/Alexandria. The cargo vessel is Cook Island flag. Appropriate cargoes include steel, generators, wood products and project cargo.

Ahlers is also seeking cargoes to Beirut, Diliskelesi, Mersin, Limassol and other Mediterranean/East Mediterranean or Persian Gulf Destinations. Please advise Ahlers of cargoes that could be load-ready.

The abolition of Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) for all shipments into and out of Nigerian seaports has been approved, which means that no shipping line is authorized to demand for Cargo Tracking Note (CTN) as a condition for cargo shipment to Nigeria.

The arrival date in Antwerp for Euroafrica’s Onyx is Dec. 29, 2011. Contact us in case of questions.

Due to the situation in Syria, the marine insurance has now been increased and Syria added to the War Risk Zone.

Therefore with immediate effect all rates will be increased by 5 percent War Risk to be applicable on all bookings and shipments.
