Breakbulk Online - News Story

Mammoet has ordered nine 250 metric-ton-capacity cranes to be used in the construction of two Brazilian docks.

The new Kobelco CKE2500-2 crawler cranes have 91.4-meter main booms and 61-meter luffing jibs.

Mammouet will use the cranes in the construction of a large Petronas dry-dock facility in Rio Grande, Brazil. Plans for a second dock are under way.

The first three cranes in the original order of five have been delivered to the Port of Santos.
