New Service: US Gulf to Venezuela, Trinidad

Breakbulk Online - News Story

CaytransBBC, a service managed by Dan-Gulf Shipping, is beginning regular sailings of its breakbulk vessels from the U.S. Gulf to Venezuela and Trinidad & Tobago twice a month, in response to increasing demand from the oil and gas sector.

The service will load out of Care Terminals in Houston and Alabama State Docks in Mobile and discharge in Guanta and Maracaibo in Venezuela, as well as Pt. Lisas in Trinidad. Other load and discharge ports can be called on inducement basis, according to a company statement.

CaytransBBC is a joint venture between German multipurpose and heavy-lift fleet operator BBC Chartering and New Orleans-based Caytrans Project Services.
