Breakbulk Online - News Story
Addition completes second round-the-world string

Multipurpose heavy-lift carrier Chipolbrok has begun a new monthly liner service from Europe to the U.S. that will be part of the carrier’s westbound services. Regular Europe load ports will be Antwerp or Rotterdam and regular U.S. ports will be New Orleans and Houston, with additional ports available on inducement.

Ships deployed in the service will be Chipolbrok’s ‘Chongming’ or ‘Rijeka’ vessel types, able to lift up to 300 metric tons: Szymanowski, Wieniawski, Norwid, Taixing, Jiaxing, Chongming and Yongxing, built from 1991 through 1998. The new service leg enables Chipolbrok to complete its westbound round-the-world string, in addition to an already established eastbound round-the-world service.
