Refinery equipment bound for a Brazilian oil project recently arrived in Santos, Brazil. The move was handled by Istanbul-based project forwarder Advance International Transport.
Part of the consignment was loaded aboard Scanscot Shipping’s ro-ro carrier Scan Brasil in Busan, Korea and the remainder was loaded in Kobe, Japan.
The cargo, manufactured by Mitsubishi, totaled more than 1,200 cubic meters, according to AIT. It included a compressor and lube oil motor, spare rotor and cooler equipment in over 100 packages and one container. The total weight exceeded 2,200 metric tons.
