Cargo specialist Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has added new ports to its Asia-Europe service, with additional stops in Livorno, Italy, and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The new discharge ports will add greater flexibility for breakbulk carriers exporting from Asia, and will join WWL’s monthly route from Japan and Thailand to Europe. The route is served by WWL’s fleet of roll-on, roll-off vessels with transit time from Japan to Livorno of 40-45 days and to Amsterdam of 48-53 days.
“Shippers of vehicles, rolling equipment and breakbulk from Japan or Thailand to Europe now have more flexibility with two new discharge ports,” a spokesperson for WWL said.
WWL operates one of the largest ro-ro fleets in the world and provides logistics and breakbulk services worldwide via a network of offices in UAE, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Holland, Italy, Romania, Spain, and the UK.
