Logistics firms Anker and Leman have moved a cargo of pipes from the U.S. to Tolú in Colombia.
The cargo included 59 flexible breakbulk pipes that were collected from Houston and shipped to the new Tolú breakbulk terminal. The consignment marked the first breakbulk shipment of that volume to be handled at the terminal.
“This shipment was handled on EXW terms and our partners in the USA, Leman, helped us in the local transportation process and customs formalities providing a very good and professional service to the client and a safe delivery to the carrier,” said Andrea Manrique, an executive at Anker.
Both Anker and Leman are members of the Project Cargo Network, which connects ISO certified breakbulk carriers in over 100 countries worldwide.
