Heavy transport firm ALE has delivered 18 heat recovery steam generator modules to Laem Chabang Port in Chonburi, Thailand.
The modules each weighed up to 230 tonnes and measured 29 meters long, 5 meters wide and 3 meters high. They were collected by a team from ALE from the fabrication yard in Thailand and loaded onto 18 axle lines of conventional trailer.
“They were then transported 20 kilometers to the Laem Chabang Port and temporarily offloaded into a storage yard, before being transported to the ship’s gear for onward shipment within Asia,” a spokesperson for ALE said.
ALE operates more than 30 offices globally from headquarters in Staffordshire, UK. The firm provides heavy-lift services in the oil and gas, civil, nuclear, offshore, renewables, petrochemical, ports, marine, minerals and metals and mining sectors.
