Project cargo and heavy-lift operator AAL has appointed Consolidated Pool Carriers (Asia) as its new commercial agent in Japan.
AAL Japan terminated its commercial agency cooperation with Keystone Logistics, and will work with CPC going forward to deliver what it sees as “strong growth potential” in Japan. CPC Asia is a subsidiary of the COLI Group.
Based in Tokyo, CPC has been a specialist project cargo and heavy-lift broker for more than 20 years. “The potential for this partnership and the value it will bring to both our local customers and AAL Japan’s standing in the region is significant,” said Yuko Kimura, AAL’s chief representative in Japan.
Singapore’s AAL is a member of Cypriot investment group Schoeller Holdings. The company provides breakbulk, heavy-lift and project cargo services worldwide to the energy, oil and gas, mining, forestry, leisure, agriculture and construction sectors.
