Logistics firm M-Star Freight Services has delivered components for a paper factory from the Netherlands to Germany.
The cargo included two oversized breakbulk items weighing 48 tonnes and 8 tonnes, respectively. The heavier of the two items measured 16 meters long and 4 meters in diameter, while the other measured 8 meters long, 3 meters wide and 4 meters high.
A team from M-Star organized door-to-door delivery by truck and barge on behalf of FREJA Transport & Logistics. They were responsible for all unstuffing, unlashing, securing, special deeploader transport, trucking and barge transport via the port of Rotterdam.
Both firms are members of the Project Cargo Network, which connects connects ISO 9001 and 14001 certified project cargo and heavy-lift carriers, operators and forwarders worldwide.
