Transport service provider Kerry Logistics Network has signed an agreement with holding company Tuvia Group for the acquisition of the majority stake in Tuvia Italia as part of its ongoing expansion in Europe.
The deal will see Kerry gain control of Tuvia’s headquarters in Milan and offices in Verona, Venice, Trieste, and Nerviano, as well as the company’s 25,000 square meters of logistics facilities.
“We have been striving to build our presence in Italy over the years and we are glad to have Tuvia joining our global network. We will continue to strengthen our coverage in Europe to ensure we deliver comprehensive logistics services globally with local knowledge,” said Thomas Blank, managing director of Europe, Kerry Logistics.
Tuvia is an authorized economic operator in Italy, a certified International Air Transport Association agent, a member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association and certified ISO 9001. The deal follows similar acquisitions by Kerry in Spain and Germany, and the opening of a new office in Warsaw, Poland.
Kerry Logistics is headquartered in Hong Kong and operates across Greater China and the ASEAN region.
