Logistics firm FOX Brasil has transported four sets of medium-sized hydraulic presses from the interior of the São Paulo state to the port of Santos in Brazil.
The breakbulk items weighed up to 70 tonnes and were delivered 150 kilometers by road. A specialist team from FOX handled heavy duty heat shrink packaging for the cargo, as well as overseeing seaworthy crating and haulage on special trailers.
“This was one of the many high-and-heavy shipments FOX Brasil received from its trading partner countries in Latin America, where the company is sure business will boom in the forthcoming year,” a Fox spokesperson said.
Headquartered in Brazil, FOX is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network, which connects independent project logistics companies specializing in breakbulk transport by air, sea and land as well as specialized handling of heavy-lift projects.
