Handling Chartering Risk in a Volatile Market
Born in 1957, William Moyersoen received a Master in Commercial and Financial Sciences. He started in 1981 at Transaf NV, a forwarding company of the ARBED group. Today he is chief executive officer at ArcelorMittal Logistics.
ArcelorMittal Logistics is the in-house forwarding office within the ArcelorMittal group. As a dedicated forwarder, AML concentrates on all steel maritime shipments within and from all European steel mills, covering shipments out of Tallinn till the Adriatic ports for an annual volume of about 11 Mton. The maritime forwarding activity also includes all related land logistics. ArcelorMittal Logistics also coordinates the delivery of about 11 Mton of bulk cargoes in the Dunkirk/Poland range. The new focus is on door-to-door deliveries.
