Alex Strogen is responsible for managing the global sourcing for ocean transport, port operations, and surveyor requirements for GE Global Operations. Before joining GE, he was responsible for the project cargo market for American Roll On Roll Off Carrier in Houston. Prior to that, he was ARC’s Manager Middle East, stationed in Dubai. Strogen began his career in the Middle East with American President Lines in Kuwait and UAE. Preparation for his career began at Maersk, where he went through the Operations Training Program. Strogen holds a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Business and currently lives in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife and child.
