Breakbulk Online - News Story

Bayswater Shipping & Forwarding has taken delivery of a second Liebherr mobile harbor crane. The new crane has a lifting capacity of 64 tonnes and a maximum outreach of 35 meters.

Bayswater provides transportation of cargoes between Singapore and Batam Island, Indonesia, as well as barging of transhipment project cargo within Asian ports. The company ordered its first Liebherr crane in 2007, a LHM 100.

The mobile harbor crane will be used to handle heavy lifts for discharging and loading of feeder vessels to barges or from barges to feeder vessels, the Singapore-based company said in a statement.
