PTC Super Heavy Lift Crane Sets Record

Mammoet has completed the testing of its new PTC super heavy-lift cranes at its dedicated terminal in Westdorpe in the Netherlands.

The crane set a new world record with a lift on 3,858 tons on jib configuration, according to a company statement. Two additional cranes of the same design are nearing completion.

The first crane is scheduled to be shipped to Brazil for its first job.
