Larsen and Toubro, an Indian technology, engineering and construction firm, has won two projects worth US$25.5 million to set up additional processing units for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp.
New facilities at Hazira, north of Mumbai, will include a gas sweetening unit, a gas dehydration unit, a dew point depression unit, and offsite and utilities. The additions will increase processing capacity by five million standard cubic meters per day, according to a company statement.
At Uran, south of Mumbai, L&T will set up a gas sweetening unit, an LPG recovery unit, a condensate fractionation unit, a condensate handling unit, gas dehydration unit and other utilities, to increase processing capacity by 5.6 million standard cubic meters per day.
The scope of the contract includes project management, residual basic design, planning and monitoring, residual process engineering, procurement, supply, manufacturing, inspection, transportation, storage, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, performance guarantee run test and handing over of new process units, offsite and utilities to the owner.
