CH2M HILL Wins New Jersey CCPP Contract

CH2M HILL has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction contract by LS Power for a 738-megawatt combined cycle power plant project in West Deptford Township, New Jersey.

CH2M HILL's EPC contract for the project includes all site and civil work, the supply and installation of two Siemens combustion turbine generator units, two heat recovery steam generators, one steam turbine generator, and complete balance of plant, including commissioning and start-up, according to a company statement.

Construction will begin in early 2012 with commercial operations targeted for 2014.
