Abnormal load specialist Van der Vlist is set to open a new UK storage facility next month, adding 3,000 square meters of secure outdoor space for breakbulk cargoes.
The facility is undergoing final construction, and is predicted to open on schedule in early April. It is located near the Port of Hull which will be its main transport link.
The facility is part of a wider investment strategy by the group which has included acquisition of a new combi trailer. The trailer features a floor length of 15.65 meters and a maximum payload of 22 tonnes.
“This new investment strengthens our capacity for wheeled equipment such as tractors, balers, mini-excavators and wheel loaders, so that we can offer more efficient and cost effective transport solutions to our customers,’ a spokesperson for Van der Vlist said.
