Move One Logistics has delivered an RG32M military vehicle with South African partner Impson Logistics from South Africa. Due to the sensitive nature of the shipment, the origin and destination of this shipment cannot be revealed. Move One transported the vehicle by air.
"The challenge posed by the project is not just in the strict security requirements required by the customer, but also in the firm time frame to be achieved," Karl Trottier, Move One's global logistics business development manager, said in a statement.
The RG32M belongs to a family of mine-resistant light armored vehicles, maintaining a combat weight of 7,300 kilograms and the capacity to carry five to seven crew members. The vehicle is resistant to ammunition, grenades, firebombs, anti-personnel mines, and side blasts, with a typical role of carrying police, security, VIP, and bullion.
Two vehicles can be transported to the required battlefield or peacekeeping area in a C130 aircraft. Its survivability is proven at -35 degrees Celsius in Sweden to 49 degrees Celsius in the African and Middle East deserts.
