Project cargo shipper AAL has received the logistics award at this year’s Lloyds List Asia Pacific Awards.
The prize recognizes shipping industry achievement and the judges highlighted AAL’s strong metrics in offering a trio of liner, semi-liner and tramp services for Asian-Pacific high-value cargoes. The award was sponsored by PSA and collected by Kyriacos Panayides, managing director of AAL.
“AAL has a strong Asia-Pacific heritage and we are proud of the role we play in connecting the region with the rest of the world, for which this award is much appreciated recognition. This is also AAL’s fifth global award since 2016,” Panayides said.
Headquartered in Singapore, AAL is a member of Cypriot investment group Schoeller Holdings. The company provides breakbulk, heavy-lift and project cargo services worldwide to the energy, oil and gas, mining, forestry, leisure, agriculture and construction sectors.
