Viking Moves Power Plant Machinery


Transshipment via Autoport, Turkey

Freight forwarding firm Viking Project Logistics has transported power plant machinery from Turkey to Russia.

The oversized cargo was loaded in Ankara and transshipped via Autoport, Turkey, to St. Petersburg, Russia. The largest items were two discharge heads and two feed heads, each of which weighed 43 tonnes.

“Viking's scope of work included the inland operation by lowbeds from site Ankara to Autoport, the lashing operations for two 40-foot and one 60-foot mafi trailer at Autoport, the customs clearance and also the delivery to St. Petersburg,” a spokesperson for Viking said.
